"The CQEC provides the opportunity to significantly improve the industry through collaboration with forward and open thinking individuals and companies. It provides an open environment where difficult and challenging questions can be discussed which in turn allows for the creation of better practices and procedures in order to benefit the Contractors, the Designers, and the Owners."

I am a licensed Architect and have been working in the profession since 2001. I have a focus on the technical side of Architecture and have a passion for collaboration both interdisciplinary in design as well as with construction. I have had the privilege of opportunities that have enhanced my career and understanding of the design and construction industries such as: significant time spent on very large and very integrated design build projects, a participant in the Chicago Building Code re-write, and currently serving on the Permanent Building and Fire Code Committee Board for Aurora, Illinois. My main professional focus is to improve quality by focusing on technical correctness, training, and industry-wide collaboration.
